She supports clients through detailed nutritional assessment, identification and diagnosis of nutritional need, nutritional education, and agreed SMART (Specific, Measureable, Acheivable, Realistic, Timely) goals and planning. 

Beneficial dietary and lifestyle changes can lead to improved health and wellbeing. In her role as a nutritionist Lorraine can support improvements in dietary intake and meal planning, energy balance, weight management and chronic disease prevention. World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) evidence shows that dietary and lifestyle assessment and modification can help prevent chronic diseases,  and reduce risk factors associated with some cancers 

As a registered dietitian and health care professional, Lorraine is trained to advise and counsel about diet, food and nutrition. She provides support and guidance in chronic disease and condition specific nutritional management. Detailed assessment and person-centred tailored interventions involve SMART goals and education to empower the individual and improve understanding of how nutrition can impact on energy levels, gut health, disease management and overall nutritional status.
